My Story
Before I started Unique Consults, I spent years working in a variety of roles and industries, learning a lot, growing a lot, and making my fair share of mistakes along the way.
I've answered phones for health insurance companies, trained customer service representatives supporting Medicare contractors, managed training programs for non-profits, developed and facilitated curriculum for technology platforms, partnered with organizations throughout New York State as a Performance Consultant, and led teams responsible for connecting community members to critical resources and services.
I've worn a lot of hats.
I've also experienced many of the same challenges that the people I work with face today.
I know what it's like to feel stuck, question yourself, navigate challenging workplace dynamics, and wonder if you're the only one trying to hold everything together. I've struggled with imposter syndrome. I've worked hard to find my voice. I've had moments where I felt confident and moments where I wondered if I was in over my head.
Thankfully, I didn't have to figure it all out alone.
Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to have mentors, colleagues, and a few incredible "work wives" who challenged me, supported me, gave me honest feedback, and helped me become a better professional and leader. They were the people who encouraged me when I needed it, challenged me when I needed that too, and reminded me that growth doesn't happen in isolation.
That's one of the biggest lessons I've learned along the way: nobody does great things alone.
Great things happen when great people come together.
Those experiences shaped me and continue to drive the work I do today.
Whether I'm coaching a professional through a career challenge, helping a new leader build confidence, facilitating a workshop, supporting a team through communication struggles, or helping an organization strengthen its culture, my goal is always the same: to help people grow, connect, and create meaningful impact.
I'm passionate about development, community, sustainability, and transparency. I believe in having honest conversations, investing in people, and creating environments where individuals and teams can thrive.
At the end of the day, that's what Unique Consults is all about.
Outside of work, I'm also a Zumba instructor, an improv actor, and an ordained minister. It may sound random... but I think it all makes sense. At their core, all three are about connection, community, and helping people feel comfortable showing up as themselves.
