First things first: having a micro-manager doesn’t mean you have a bad manager. Everyone has their own style when it comes to communicating and leading—and sometimes, that style can feel a little... "hover-y".

It’s not really our job to decide if it's good or bad—it just is. We can’t control how others manage, but we can control how we show up, respond, and navigate the relationship.

I've been there myself. Over time and through different roles, I learned how to better understand my managers' styles, strengthen those working relationships, and grow both personally and professionally.
